Tawa Drive
The music of Tawa Drive, the solo project from Kiwi multi-instrumentalist Evan Scrimgeour, combines nostalgic acoustic warmth with hazy dream-pop ambience. Inspired by artists such as James Blake, Alvvays, and M83, Scrimgeour seeks to create whole worlds within songs, with atmospheric depth building into soaring crescendos, and communicate personal stories of mental health and growing older.
