Hailing from regional Queensland, Cardboard Cutouts brings their overly honest songwriting to every track, showcasing a hard-hitting blend of modern rock infused with a diverse array of genres, featuring tasty bass lines, melodic guitars, and intricate drumming. Frontman Eliot Argus’s distinct Australian vocal delivery anchors their innovative yet nostalgic sound, bringing a fresh energy to the alternative rock genre.
Over the past five years, the band has evolved from performing at school events to nationally touring their debut album 'Politics & Footy Tips'. They have also shared stages with renowned national and internationals acts such as Phil Jamieson (Grinspoon), Suzi, Origami Angel, Michael Cera Palin, Lazy Ghost, Surf Trash and Concrete Surfers. They also had the honour of opening for Greta Stanley and Vera Blue at Toowoomba’s 2022
Food Flower and Wine Festival.
